R&B Legend D’Angelo Passes Away at 51 

Iconic neo-soul singer D’Angelo has reportedly died at the age of 51. The news was initially shared by journalist Marc Lamont Hill on social media.

While initial reports were unconfirmed, subsequent reports from multiple sources have indicated the cause of death was pancreatic cancer, following a private health battle. His family later confirmed the passing.

His 1995 debut album, Brown Sugar, spent 65 weeks on the Billboard 200 and was certified platinum. The album is widely credited with helping to popularize the neo-soul genre.
